LOVERS
Engagement and Couple's photoshoots.
Romantic, cinematic shoots for couples in love. →Boston • New York • Destinations
You want photos that feel easy, and results that look exceptional? You're in the right place.
Real moments. Editorial elevation.
I crack jokes. I hype people up. I've been known to tie a groom's bowtie, steam a dress fifteen minutes before the ceremony, and grab water for a grandmother because I overheard she was thirsty. I'm genuinely invested in how your day goes, and that energy is contagious.
The shoot feels like a hang with someone who happens to be very good at their job. The photos arrive and the reaction is always the same: “I knew you were good. I just didn’t expect them to be this incredible.”
Let's be real: you don't take photos every day. Most couples feel a little stiff in front of a camera — that's completely normal, and it's completely fixable.
I combine a documentary eye with genuine posing guidance and fun prompts that get you moving and loosen everything up. The candid moments and the portraits end up living in the same gallery — and you often can’t tell which is which.
Some couples want full Vogue — sharp, editorial, striking. Other couples want to be laughing the whole time. Most couples want both, in the right proportions.
I get to know you first — then use a combination of candid observation, gentle prompting, direction, and posing to build a gallery that’s dynamic and unmistakably yours.
Couples tell me they chose me because my photos made them feel something — joy, connection, energy, beauty. And they almost always mention the colors.
I’m part photojournalist, part visual storyteller. Sometimes I take a photo: channeling my love of street photography to spot a fleeting moment and, in the same breath, frame a shot that tells some small story from your day. Sometimes I make one: picturing a quiet black-and-white portrait of the two of you, reading the light and shapes around us to place you just so, and guiding you with my words and tone into something bold or tender or funny.
The last step of making a photo is the edit, and I edit true to memory — true to feeling. Not every frame light and pastel, not every frame dark and moody. I lean bright and warm, but as a tool, not a rule.
